“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:10
“After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:2-3
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
I am so excited about what God is doing in our church and many other places across our country! It is so much like Jesus to rise up in our country when chaos comes from our enemy Satan. We have the constant reassuring promises of Jesus that are “yes” and “amen.”
In this devotion, I want all of us to see the primary purpose of Jesus coming to earth as Emmanuel, God with us. He told Pilate in a discussion about the truth; Jesus was the truth and He came to testify to it. Think about it: If you have Jesus living in your heart, you have the truth, not an ideology, but a living God that you fell head over heels in love with from the time you asked Him to come into your life.
In the church this last week, we experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit anointing the fellowship with His presence and bringing healing and salvation. When the convincing power of the Holy Spirit is preached, unsaved people are stirred in their hearts. We need this stirring in the local church, every local church! Now is the time! Heaven has declared an invasion into our country, our state, our city, our neighborhoods and our families. No one is left out. Those of us who have been praying for family members, friends and work associates need to know that God is listening. God is so happy for His children when they pray and follow His leading as the time arrives to lavish His love from the Holy Spirit.
You see, the sinful life of our past was nailed to the cross. Jesus bore our sins and as a result we are made dead to sin. We focus on the life emanating from within, alive with so much love for all those we meet and know. God has made us to be creative, and in this creativity His plan is simple: By Jesus’ example, we will produce acts of kindness with the intention of bringing a lost soul to Christ. The war against sin is won with one heart decision for faith in Christ at a time. If we take care of the simple tasks we are called to, Jesus is faithful to fulfill the promise to rescue and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
